Central Java, Indonesia
Increasing deforestation rates have caused the extirpation of at least seven subpopulations currently with the remaining population predicted to become extinct over the next 100 years if conditions do not change. Hunting pressures combine with the habitat loss to reduce numbers and remove young for the pet trade.
